David Foster, LSW
Mr. Foster began his addictions counseling career at New Hope Foundation in 2010. He began as an overnight associate and rapidly move on to become house case-manager, to developing a client caseload and eventually working with the adolescents. During that time Mr. Foster earned his bachelor’s degree in social sciences form Thomas Edison State College and went on to attain a master’s degree in Social Work (2015) from Rutgers University. Shortly thereafter Mr. Foster became a Licensed Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. Mr. Foster began his Independent Clinical Contractor Career with Breath of Life Counseling Services working with the Intoxicated Drivers Resource Center (IDRC) in Somerset and Middlesex counties. Mr. Foster continues to work with this population as well as developing his private practice. Mr. Foster has also worked with several other agencies throughout his career; Endeavor House in 2014, New Horizons Treatment Services since 2015 and most recently Damon House in New Brunswick offering counseling, support and guidance to clients with addictions. David considers himself a “servant” in his capacity in helping others and takes great joy and pride in his work.
